What: The Industrial PhD Programme is administered by Innovation Fund Denmark (InnovationsFonden). The Industrial PhD student is contracted into a 3-year research collaboration between a private company and a university. The student pushes out the frontier of academic knowledge while solving industrially relevant research problems. More information can be found here.
How: The application form must be filled out and handed in before one of the two annual deadlines. Applications for Industrial PhDs in the public sector is handled at a single, annual deadline.

What: An Industrial PostDoc project is a collaboration between a company and a public research institution. The project centers around solving specific research and development tasks.
The Industrial PostDoc Progamme is targeting talented researches in the beginning of their career, i.e. within a maximum five years (excl. maternity / paternity leave) after obtaining the PhD degree.
How: The Industrial PostDoc project of 1-3 years duration is applied for by the Industrial PostDoc candidate. Upcoming application dates and forms can be found here.
The Industrial PhD & PostDoc Association works to advance the interests of Industrial PhDs and PostDocs. Our goal is to procure the best studying and working conditions and frameworks, preserve the reputation of the Industrial PhD and PostDoc programmes, and foster career opportunities for our members. The association is run by our active members and the board in particular.
