The theme of the 2011 Communication Prize was “Communicate Research”. The assignment was to write about research that has your interest, i.e. not necessarily your own research.
In collaboration with videnskab.dk and specialist in communication Maja Horst from CBS, we found the three winning contributions. This years winners communicated scientific aspects of interest to the general public within very different areas such as pedagogy, osteoporosis and robot technology in a way that was both exiting and easy to read.
The 2011 Communication Prizes of 16.000 DKK, 8.000 DKK and 4.000 DKK, respectively, were awarded at the ATV annual meeting held at Experimentarium.
The winners were:
First prize: “I skolen kan man ikke stjæle fra børnenes fantasi” by Mai Murmann, Experimentarium.
Second prize: “Stop de knogleædende celler!” by Anita Vibsig Neutzsky-Wulff, Nordic Bioscience.
Third prize: “Farmor spiller bold med robotten” by Søren Tranberg, Teknologisk Institut.
All three winning contributions of the 2011 Communication Prize were published at www.videnskab.dk
